1. Our Services
ModernHomeDesignStudio provides residential design and drafting services, which may include:
- Custom floor plan design
- 2D layout drafting
- 3D exterior and interior rendering
- Ready-made home plan packages
- Plot and site utilization planning
- Space and furniture zoning
- Sustainable layout planning
- Future expansion planning
- Style and design consultation
- CAD-ready files where included in the selected package
The exact scope of work depends on the package, quotation, or written project agreement purchased by the client.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete project information, including where applicable:
- Plot or property dimensions
- Site orientation
- Existing measurements
- Room requirements
- Design preferences
- Reference materials
- Local restrictions or special requirements
- Relevant sketches, photographs, or property information
ModernHomeDesignStudio is not responsible for errors, delays, redesign work, or construction issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by the client.
3. Estimates and Quotations
Any quotation or project estimate is based on the information available at the time it is provided.
If the scope of a project materially changes after work begins, additional services, fees, or delivery time may be required.
Any additional charges will be communicated before the additional work is undertaken.
4. Payments
Payment must be made according to the pricing, quotation, invoice, or checkout terms presented at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work may begin only after the required payment has been successfully received.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
5. Project Delivery
Estimated turnaround times vary according to the selected package and project complexity.
Typical delivery periods may range from approximately 5 to 14 days.
Delivery timelines begin after we have received the required payment and sufficient project information to begin work.
Delays caused by missing information, delayed client feedback, requested changes, third-party issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may extend the delivery date.
6. Revisions
Packages may include unlimited revisions as stated on the applicable service or pricing page.
Unlimited revisions apply to reasonable changes within the original project scope and design brief.
They do not include an unlimited number of entirely new concepts, major changes to the property or plot, complete redesigns based on new requirements, or work outside the original purchased service.
Where a requested change materially expands the original project scope, an additional fee may apply.
7. Client Approval
Clients are responsible for reviewing drafts, measurements, layouts, dimensions, and final files carefully before approving them or using them for further professional review or construction.
Approval of a design indicates that the client has reviewed the submitted work and accepts the design direction, subject to any required local professional or regulatory review.
8. Architectural, Engineering, and Permit Requirements
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, ModernHomeDesignStudio does not provide licensed architectural, structural engineering, surveying, geotechnical, or other regulated professional services.
Our plans and drawings may require review, modification, certification, stamping, or approval by locally licensed professionals before they can be used for permits or construction.
Building codes, zoning regulations, HOA requirements, setbacks, permit rules, and construction standards vary by jurisdiction.
The client is responsible for confirming all applicable requirements with the appropriate local authorities and qualified professionals.
9. Construction Use
Clients must ensure that all important site conditions and dimensions are independently verified before construction begins.
Builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals remain responsible for construction methods, structural calculations, materials, workmanship, site safety, code compliance, and execution.
ModernHomeDesignStudio is not responsible for modifications made to our designs by clients, contractors, builders, or third parties.
10. 3D Renderings
3D renderings are intended to help clients visualize a proposed design.
Colors, materials, landscaping, furniture, lighting, finishes, dimensions, and other visual details may differ from the completed property.
A 3D rendering does not guarantee that the final constructed property will appear exactly as shown.
11. CAD and Digital Files
Where included in a package, files may be delivered in formats such as PDF, image, DWG, DXF, or other agreed formats.
Compatibility with every software version, contractor system, printing environment, or third-party application cannot be guaranteed.
Clients should confirm technical file requirements before ordering when a specific format or software compatibility is essential.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ModernHomeDesignStudio retains ownership of its underlying design methods, templates, systems, working files, concepts, website content, graphics, and other proprietary materials.
Once the applicable project fees have been paid in full, the client may use the final delivered custom design files for their intended personal residential project.
Clients may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish for commercial resale, or claim authorship of our designs without written permission.
13. Portfolio Use
Unless confidentiality has been separately agreed in writing, we may display completed design work, drawings, or renderings in our portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials.
We will make reasonable efforts not to display private personal information unnecessarily.
Clients may request confidential treatment of a project before work begins.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website or services may use or interact with third-party providers such as payment processors, communication platforms, cloud services, analytics tools, or software providers.
We are not responsible for interruptions, failures, policies, or actions of independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
15. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, refunds, and payment-related requests are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and any specific terms communicated with the applicable service or quotation.
Because our services involve customized digital work, refund eligibility may depend on whether work has already begun or deliverables have already been created.
16. Prohibited Use
You may not use our website or services to:
- Violate applicable laws
- Submit fraudulent or misleading information
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with website security or functionality
- Copy or redistribute protected website content without permission
- Use our designs or files for unauthorized resale

17. No Guaranteed Outcome
We do not guarantee permit approval, construction approval, property value, construction cost, contractor performance, resale value, energy efficiency, project completion dates, or any other specific outcome resulting from the use of our services.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ModernHomeDesignStudio and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or financial losses arising from the use of our website or services.
Our total liability for a claim relating to a purchased service will not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to that claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Indemnification
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your misuse of our website or services, your violation of these Terms, or information and materials you provide that infringe the rights of another person.
20. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by applicable laws of the United States and the laws applicable to the business, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in a client’s jurisdiction.
